Why Being On Time Matters for Your Photo Session


When you book a photo session with me, you’re not just reserving a date, you’re reserving time. That time is carefully planned, intentionally scheduled, and set aside just for you.


Being “on time” does not mean pulling into the parking lot at your session start time. Being on time means arriving early, out of the car, fully dressed, clothing adjusted, pockets emptied, and ready to begin shooting at your scheduled start time.


Why This Is So Important

1. Your session time is planned for a reason.

I choose session times based on lighting, location, and the best conditions for beautiful photos. Light changes quickly, especially during golden hour, and even a few minutes late can significantly affect the look and quality of your images.


2. Sessions run back-to-back

I often have clients scheduled one after another. When one session starts late, it pushes the rest of the day behind. That’s not fair to the next client who arrived prepared and on time.


3. My time matters—and so does yours

I am running a professional business, but I’m also a parent and have a family waiting for me at the end of the day. I intentionally schedule my sessions so I can give each client my full attention and still honor my commitments at home.


Moving Forward: Session Time Policies:

To ensure fairness and consistency for everyone, all sessions will start and end exactly at the scheduled time.

  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the original end time.
  • It is your responsibility to arrive early and make the most of your session time.
  • Sessions must be paid in full two days prior to the scheduled session.
  • If you miss your session entirely, the amount paid covers my reserved time and is non-refundable.
